Saharsa, May 24 (HS). Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Vaibhav Chaudhary, the progress of the construction work of National Highway No. 327 E and 107 was reviewed.
Regarding the updated progress of the construction work of NH 107, it was told that the DBM work has been completed by removing the encroachment in Mauja Paharpur and starting the work. It is very important to remove some permanent structures near Bainjanathpur Chowk which are causing hindrance in the work in the interest of work.
The DM directed that by establishing coordination with the Zonal Officer Saur Bazar and the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer, appropriate action should be taken by removing the encroachment as soon as possible. Regarding the supply of fly ash, it was informed that NTPC has placed an order for supply to the transporter. Supply of fly ash is likely from the first week of June. Regarding the construction of Major Bridge and Manuri BHIUP approach road, it was told that the construction work of both the above mentioned bridges has been completed. Regarding the current progress of box culvert construction, it was told that the construction work of 61 out of 71 has been completed. Out of the remaining 10, construction work is in progress in 02.
