– Union Minister of State, targeting the opposition alliance including SP-Congress, appealed to the public to vote for BJP.
Ballia, 23 May (Hindustan Reporter). Union Minister of State Ashwani Choubey, who arrived on Thursday in support of BJP candidate Neeraj Shekhar from Ballia Lok Sabha, appealed to the public to vote for BJP. From the stage, he took a dig at the leaders of the opposition alliance including Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee. He claimed that there can be no reservation in this country on the basis of religion. BJP will not allow Muslims to take reservation in the name of religion in backward, extremely backward and scheduled caste reservations. This is our resolution.
Union Minister Ashwini Choubey, who reached Ballia to campaign for BJP candidate Neeraj Shekhar before the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections, said in a press conference held at a hotel in Phephana that when journalists asked him that the Kolkata High Court has abolished Muslim reservation in the OBC quota, that the BJP is against reservation in the name of religion. This is a setback for the Chief Minister of West Bengal.
The Union Minister of State, without naming Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejaswi Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamta Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee, called them Pappu, Sappu, Gappu and Dappu and said that these princes – Pappu at the top, Sappu below, Gappu in Bihar, Mamta's Laffu in Bengal and Dappu who has come out on bail from jail in the liquor scam – will not form the government. Narendra Modi's government will be formed. All these princes will remain princes only. While taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi, he said that Rahul Gandhi is a leader who licks chutney with a silver spoon and has not been able to understand the country till date. He may travel but he does not understand the difference between moong and arhar dal.
