Britain will hold general elections on July 4, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced

General elections will be held in Britain on July 4. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced this at 10 Downing Street in London on Wednesday night. He said that the time has come for Britain to choose its future. Parliament will be dissolved soon after King Charles III is informed about the time frame of the election. The selection process will begin only after this.

Rishi Sunak calls for national election in Britain

As Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak will go before the voters in the elections for the first time. The ruling Conservative Party did not announce the PM face before the elections in the year 2022. After the elections, the party's parliamentary group elected Sunak as its leader. Sunak got the support of about 200 MPs, after which he became PM.
