Lucknow, 22 May (HS). On the eve of the birth anniversary of Tathagata Lord Buddha, a seminar on the topic “India of Tathagata Lord Buddha” was organized at Buddhist Vihar Shanti Upvan, Lucknow on Wednesday. The chief guest of the program, Rajendra, head of social harmony of Awadh province, said that we should follow the compassion and friendship of Lord Buddha. This will benefit the world.
State President of Dharma Sanskriti Sangam, Arun Singh Baudh, while addressing the seminar, said that after independence, Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister who celebrated Buddha Jayanti at the world level. Buddhist Commission was formed in the Modi government itself. Prime Minister Modi is the only Prime Minister who has continuously visited countries that believe in Lord Buddha and maintained dialogue with them.
Arun Singh said that this is Buddha's India. India gave Buddha to the world, not war, i.e. non-violence, kindness, compassion and friendship. The Prime Minister has always seen the spiritual strength of India as the shaper of the country's destiny and the lifeline of hope during the years of slavery. He always says very clearly that the foundation of India's glorious freedom movement is based on the spiritual strength of India.
The Prime Minister often quotes Lord Buddha's aphorism “Appa Deepo Bhava”, “Show your path yourself.” Although every spiritual person will associate himself with this concept, but for a global person like the Prime Minister, these formulas take a very broad form. As a lamp, a person illuminates not only himself but the entire creation. The program was presided over by Buddhist monk Sheel Ratan.
