Araria, 22 May (Hindustan Reporter). Bihar's Forest Environment and Climate Change Secretary Vandana Preyasi arrived at Vriksha Vatika on the occasion of Biodiversity Day in Hasanpur of Raniganj Nagar Panchayat on Wednesday. A program was organized by the department on the spot.
On the occasion, the children made paintings on biodiversity conservation, seeing which the Forest Environment Secretary praised the children a lot. An essay competition was also organized for the children.
Secretary Vandana Preyasi honored the successful students of essay writing competition by giving them medals. Addressing the forest workers, school children and livelihood sisters present there, Secretary Vandana Preyasi said that along with biodiversity, environment, pollution, climate change, water conservation etc. are very important for us. We are also a part of biodiversity. We should respect nature and always try to protect the environment.
Apart from the Forest Environment Secretary, Bihar, Farvisganj SDO Shailja Pandey, DFO Megha Yadav etc. also addressed the people present in the program. Many DFOs of the department including Ranger Dinesh Prasad Yadav, Kundan Singh, Govind Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Singh were also present on the occasion.
