A brass bell weighing 3000 kgs made in Banaras will be installed in Mathura

Varanasi, 22 May (HS). On Thursday, a bell weighing three thousand kilos will be installed in Ramanareetidham, Mahavan, Mathura, the childhood place of Lord Shri Krishna. On the auspicious time of Vaishakh Purnima, a bell weighing three tonnes made in Varanasi will hang in the Karshni Udasin Parivar Ashram located in Ramanreditham. This information was given to the journalists by Swami Brajeshanand Saraswati, trustee of Sriguru Karshni Vidya Bhavan, Varanasi, here on Wednesday.

He told that apart from the main metal brass, some other metals have also been used to cast this bell weighing about three thousand kilos. It will be installed in Raman Reti Dham amidst various religious rituals organized under the guidance of Guru Sharananand. The entire Raman Reti Dham will benefit from installing such a huge bell.

He told that when the sound of the temple bell reaches the ears, one gets the same benefit as darshan. This huge bell was sent to Mathura by road today. Social workers Keshav Jalan and Nidhidev Aggarwal, who participated in the talk, told that this place called Ramanvan or Ramanreti, located in Gokul area, some distance away from Mathura, is adorned with the stories of the bygone era. Lord Shri Krishna used to come to play on the sand here with his shepherd friends. This is the place which Lord Shri Krishna chose to meet Radha. Presently Ramanreti Dham is spread over a huge complex. Here is the ancient temple of Raman Bihari ji along with some other divine temples, a sanctuary and a favorite place of saints for penance. All facilities for pilgrims are also available in Ramanretidham area.
