Unidentified bodies found at two places in Meerut, police engaged in investigation



Meerut, 20 May (HS). Unidentified bodies were found at two places in Meerut on Monday. One person was burnt and drowned in Rajwaha. While the body of another person was found lying in the field. Police have identified both the bodies and started investigation.

On Monday, people saw a half-burnt body lying in Rajwahe in Poothani village of Partapur police station area. Seeing this, people gathered there and the police was informed. When the police station reached the spot and examined the body, they found that it had been burnt to death and thrown into the river for disposal. The face of the body was badly burnt and the killers had tried to hide the identity. On information, Jani police station also reached the spot. Police got embroiled in a border dispute regarding the dead body. The police removed the body from Rajwaha and sent it to the mortuary and started efforts to identify it.

The second body was found lying in a field near a country liquor vend in Goon village of Partapur police station area. On information from the people, the police reached the spot and tried to identify the body. Despite the efforts of the police, the body could not be identified. The age of the young man seems to be 25-30 years. The deceased was wearing a shirt and lower. Police are trying to identify both the bodies through internet media. According to the police, efforts are being made to identify the dead bodies. Along with this, investigation is also being done on other points.
