Kanpur Dehat, May 20 (HS). Voting for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections begins at 7 am today. Voting is going on peacefully since morning in Bhognipur, an assembly under Jalaun Lok Sabha in Kanpur Dehat district. Till 9 am, 15.15 percent voting took place on this seat.
Voting for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections has started from Monday morning. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the voters regarding voting. In the fourth phase, voting has taken place on three assembly seats of Kanpur Dehat. In the fifth phase, elections are being held on the Lok Sabha seat of Jalaun district. Bhoganipur assembly of Kanpur Dehat district comes in this Lok Sabha. In which about three and a half lakh voters are going to exercise their franchise. Voting is going on since morning at 403 polling booths and 294 polling stations set up in the assembly. There is a tough fight in this Lok Sabha seat between BJP candidate Union Minister Bhanu Pratap Verma and alliance candidate Narayan Das Ahirwar.
Suresh Chandra Gautam is also trying his luck in the election field as a BSP candidate. During the elections, senior officials of the district are visiting the polling booths and conducting well-organized elections. When voter Komal Singh, who had participated in this festival of Lok Sabha elections, was asked what kind of candidate he had decided to choose. So he told that he has voted for the one who will live up to our expectations and do development work in his Lok Sabha. Whereas Deep Singh said that he has chosen the one who will do better work in his Lok Sabha along with the security of his country. Rohit Gupta, who came after voting, said that such a candidate has been selected who will maintain the security system, participate in our happiness and sorrow and work on the infrastructure of the area.
