Additional Superintendent of Police, City, Sarvesh Kumar Mishra said that on May 10, an incident of robbery took place on Bankat Road with Jitendra Singh, son of Virendra Singh, village Nagla Mira police station, Jalesar district, Etah. The police were searching for the robbers who caused this incident.
He told that the Tundla police station along with the SOG team was on patrol in the area on Friday night when the police team had an encounter with the miscreants on the way from Tundla Highway to Chandika village. In which accused Gopal Krishna was injured by a bullet in his leg. He was sent to the district hospital for treatment and accused Anish Yadav was arrested from the spot during combing. Looted mobile phone, motorcycle used in the incident, three other mobile phones which were stolen and looted from different places, one illegal pistol 315 bore, two spent cartridges and two live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused.
