Neeraj Chopra won gold: Indian star golden boy Neeraj Chopra has once again made the country proud. Today, Neeraj Chopra hoisted the tricolor after winning the gold medal in the javelin throw event in the Athletics Federation Cup 2024.

Neeraj has won the gold medal in the javelin throw event of the ongoing Federation Cup in Bhubaneswar. Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj won the gold medal in the final event by throwing the javelin 82.27 meters. This was Neeraj's first tournament in India in 3 years.

Apart from Neeraj, Kishore Jena and DP Manu also participated in the javelin throw event in this tournament. Manu stood second by throwing javelin 82.06 meters. And he won the silver medal.

Neeraj qualified for Paris Olympics

Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Jena have qualified for Paris Olympics 2024. This was the reason that both of them got a place directly in the finals. After Neeraj and Manu, Uttam Patil is at number three. Uttam won the bronze medal by throwing javelin 78.39 meters.
