Prayagraj, 13 May (HS). The main objective of the five-day training program of district level master trainers is to make teachers proficient on new textbooks, workbooks and teacher guides. Due to which, it will be their responsibility to conduct training based on the knowledge acquired during the training. I have full confidence that whatever you learn from here, you will use it at the district level.

CMAT Director Dinesh Singh said these things on Monday while inaugurating a five-day training of district level master trainers on new textbooks, workbooks and teacher guides based on NCERT curriculum. In the training organized from 13 to 17 May under the joint aegis of State Institute of Educational Management and Training (CMAT), Prayagraj and Samagra Shiksha State Project Office, Uttar Pradesh, the Director gave many tips to the diet mentors and SRGs who came from different districts.

The Director said that on the first day of the training, all of you will be informed about the intricacies of determining the strategy for the use of textbooks, workbooks and other teaching-learning materials and work will be done on how the encouraging activities can reach the homes of the children. While discussing the workbooks, an attempt will be made to create a holistic understanding on what, why, how and the process of what, why and when will be explained to understand reading practice and fluent reading.

On the second day of the training, understanding on assessment and remedial work will be developed and challenges faced in classroom and classroom processes will be discussed and various components of learning mathematics as per the National Curriculum Framework will be discussed. On the third day of the training, efforts will be made with all of you to develop academic plans and understanding on teacher guides and workbooks. On the fourth day, there will be discussion on teaching of English language and discussion on collaborative supervision and administrative responsibilities. On the last day of the training program, we will be introduced to the process of determining strategies to make children proficient and discussing the role of mentors and giving feedback to teachers.

On this occasion, program coordinator Prabhat Kumar Mishra said that in this training program, 2 SRGs and 2 diet mentors from 16 districts have been invited as district level mentors.

In this cycle, teams of district level referrers from Etah, Bareilly, Badaun, Bulandshahr, Kasganj, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Mainpuri, Firozabad, Hathras, Hapur, Sambhal, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Aligarh and Ghaziabad are participating.
