Most people reach their peak bone mass around age 30, he said. After the age of 45, special care of bones is necessary to prevent bone erosion or osteoporosis. We should pay special attention to the amount of calcium in diet and body. It is essential to do physical exercise regularly. Vitamin D is essential for the absorption of calcium in the body.
Dr. Nimish Aggarwal told that calcium intake should be 1000 mg to 1200 mg per day. The body also needs Vitamin D for effective absorption of calcium. Regular exercise is essential.
