On Sunday, the second day of the ongoing Paris Olympic Selection Trials at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Isha Singh and Anish Bhanwala registered their second victory in the women's 25 meter pistol and men's 25 meter rapid fire pistol trials respectively. Anish had won the first trial of the same event in Delhi, while Isha had also won the second trial of Women's 10m Air Pistol at the Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi.
Isha Singh registered her first win in the women's 25 meter pistol trial at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy. He scored 43 points in the final. Her score is one point more than the world record score of Korea's Kim Yeji at the Baku World Cup this month. At the same time, Anish dominated in the men's rapid fire pistol final. He hit all the correct shots in the first three series of five shots. He won the title with 36 points.
At the same time, Vijayveer Sidhu stood second with 31 points, while Ankur Goyal stood third with 19 points. Adarsh Singh and Bhavesh Shekhawat stood fourth and fifth respectively. All these 10 shooters will participate in the fourth and final trial of the Olympic selection trials on Monday.
