Adamya Sports Fest 2024 was launched on Saturday at IIMT University. Dean of Physical Education Department, Dr. Varendra Singh Patial welcomed the chief guest, Dr. VP Rakesh, Registrar of IIMT University. The Registrar said that going beyond winning and losing, participating in sports is the biggest victory. He called upon the players to perform better by participating in the competition with sporting spirit. After this, competitions of football, volleyball, kabaddi and basketball were started. Organizing Secretary Dr. Devprakash said that eight teams in football, 15 teams in volleyball, 13 teams in Kabaddi and 10 teams in basketball are participating in the competition.
It is noteworthy that these also include two Army teams in Kabaddi and Volleyball. Apart from Meerut, players and army personnel from Bulandshahr, Mathura, Noida, Delhi are also participating in the fest.
