According to the information, on Saturday, May 11, people of PoK were protesting in large numbers against the tax increase by Pakistan. But a day before, additional security forces were called to stop the protest.
According to reports, Pakistani troops detained more than 70 activists in Mirpur district without issuing any warrant or notice to stop the protest. After this incident the angry crowd came out on the streets. The general public pelted stones at the security forces in protest against the arrest. So the whole situation became very intense. In such a situation, the local administration has implemented Section 144 with immediate effect.
Pakistan is not sparing even children
Violence is being used to crush protests against Pakistan. Pakistan administration has deployed additional soldiers. In which Pakistan Rangers and Frontier Corps soldiers have been included. According to the information received, Jammu and Kashmir Joint Action Committee had announced a people's march. More than 70 activists have been arrested to stop this. Pakistani security forces are not leaving even children. Police released tear gas. Many students of a school got affected by this.
The Jammu and Kashmir Joint Action Committee called a meeting on Friday to put pressure on the Pakistan government to abide by the agreement reached in February this year. This also included the transporters' strike. The committee accused the government of Pakistan's capital Islamabad of not fulfilling the agreement.
