Hamirpur, 10 May (HS). Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur on Friday participated in the nomination of Bharatiya Janata Party's Assembly by-election candidate Rajinder Rana. After this, while addressing a public meeting, he said that as soon as he got the chair, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu became intoxicated with power. He ignored the interests of the common Himachali. The elected representatives were treated disrespectfully. The result of which is in front of all of you today. Six Congress MLAs lost their MLAs today. The result of his dictatorship is that today the Congress government has lost its majority in the state. To save the government in the budget session, 15 BJP MLAs had to be expelled.
He said that the government may do whatever it wants but now it is a guest for a few days. In the coming time, there will be a BJP government in the Center and Himachal, which will speed up development, which instead of closing institutions, will open new institutions and strengthen the old institutions. So that the sufferings of the people of Himachal are reduced.
Jai Ram Thakur said that Rajinder Rana had to lose his MLA for all of you. When Rajinder Rana went to the Chief Minister regarding your work, his application was thrown in the dustbin. The elected representatives were insulted even by people who cannot even win the councilor election. Your MLA had to face humiliation for raising his voice for the people of Sujanpur. Rana decided to fight for the honor of you people. It has been decided to convey your voice to the Chief Minister and the high command. The price of which he had to pay by losing his MLA. Today he is in front of you. Now, keeping in mind their honor and respect, all of you have to answer the dictatorship by sending them to the assembly again with a historic lead.
Jai Ram Thakur said that people can easily understand the Chief Minister whose three MLAs from his home district put their MLAs at stake due to his actions. Only the Chief Minister is responsible for the by-elections of the state.
On this occasion, Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency candidate Anurag Thakur, State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Sujanpur Assembly constituency in-charge Rakesh Jamwal, Sujanpur candidate Rajinder Rana, Hamirpur MLA Ashish Sharma, officials, workers and local people were present in large numbers.
