'We were not given any evidence', India criticizes Canada over arrest of three Indians


New Delhi: The Canadian government has arrested three Indian citizens for the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijhar. On this action of Canada, India has said that it has not received any formal message from Canada in this regard. The Foreign Ministry on Thursday said Canada has not provided any 'specific' evidence or relevant information nor any 'formal communication' in the Hardeep Singh Nijhar murder case.

Regarding the three Indians arrested in Canada in the Nijhar murder case, the External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said, “We have not been given any information in this matter. Canada has informed us about the arrest. But we have not received any formal information.” Communications.”
