Lucknow, 04 May (HS). A case has been registered against five including the then Darulshafa outpost in-charge in PGI police station area. The police had given the woman third degree degree on theft charges.
The victim woman alleges that Hazratganj Kotwali police was not registering the case when it was a police case. She went to many authorities for justice, but no one listened to her plea. After this the victim took refuge in the competent court. This case has been registered on the orders of the court. It is alleged that the then police post in-charge had beaten the woman badly on the charge of theft. The woman was drenched in blood due to police brutality. There were a dozen injuries on the woman's body.
