Sensex 2600 and Nifty up 800 points, turmoil, investors' wealth declined by Rs 3 lakh crore

Ahmedabad: Indian stock market today witnessed heavy volatility with Sensex falling 733 points and Nifty falling 172 points following reports of major changes in income tax rules by the government after the Lok Sabha elections amid various favorable reports. Thus, during the entire session today, there was a fluctuation of more than 2600 points in Sensex and more than 800 points in Nifty. Investor wealth today (BSE market cap) increased to Rs. Dow Jones jumped 426 points
