7 May- Banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa due to Lok Sabha elections.
8 May- All banks will remain closed in West Bengal on the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti.
May 10 – Banks will remain closed in Karnataka on Basava Jayanti/Akshay Tritiya.
13 May – Bank holiday in Srinagar due to Lok Sabha elections.
16 May – Sikkim State Day is a bank holiday in the state.
20 May- Banks will remain closed in the state of Maharashtra during voting for the Lok Sabha elections.
May 23 – Bank holiday in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bhopal, Kanpur, Dehradun, Raipur, Ranchi, Aizawl, Itanagar, Nagpur, Belapur, Agartala, Jammu, Shimla areas and states and Srinagar on Buddha Purnima.
May 25 – Bank holiday in Tripura (Agartala) and Odisha due to Nazrul Jayanti and Lok Sabha Jayanti.
