Paris Saint-Germain benefit from a 3-2 defeat of SA Monaco at Olympique Lyonnais. The result saw Paris Saint-Germain win the Ligue 1 football title for a record 12th time. PSG had a direct chance to win the title last Saturday but the match against Le Havre ended in a 3-3 draw. PSG are 12 points ahead of second-place Monaco with three league matches remaining. This is Monaco's first defeat in the last nine matches. PSG once again established its dominance in French football by winning the title. Vissamben Yedder scored for Monaco in the first and 60th minutes. For Lyon, Alexandre Lacazette scored in the 22nd minute, Saeed Benrahma in the 26th minute and Malik Fofana scored in the 84th minute. PSG retained the top position with 70 points with 20 wins from 31 matches. Second-placed Monaco has 58 points from 21 matches and third-placed Brest FC has 56 points from 21 matches.
