Mirzapur, 29 April (Hindustan Reporter). The marriage procession had come to Naugawan Guruwan village of Drummondganj police station area on 25th April. In the fight that took place there, village resident Ajay Kumar was murdered by unknown people and his body was hidden in the straw kept in a barn in a nearby barn. The father of the deceased, Pahlodi Kahar, son of Bhukru Kahar, had filed a complaint regarding murder of his son and hiding the body in the straw kept in the barn.
On the basis of the complaint, Mudramganj police at Drummondganj police station, while investigating the case, collected electronic and physical evidence and the head of Drummondganj police station, Arvind Kumar Saroj, brought to light the incident related to the area: Deepak Gaur, son of Pannulal Gaur, resident of Mawaikala police station Halia, Tushar alias Aryan, son of Rakesh Nishad, resident of 441 Muthiganj police station, Muthiganj district, Prayagraj, and Nikhil Gaur, son of Rajan Prasad Gaur, resident of Tisentulapur police station, Manda district, Prayagraj, were arrested from Gadbada bridge on the night of 28 April. At the behest of the arrested accused, the murder knife used in the incident was recovered. Legal action was taken against the arrested accused and they were sent to jail.
The police station in-charge said that during the marriage, there was a dispute between the groom's side and the wedding party regarding Neg's issue. On which Ajay Kumar (deceased) had insulted the wedding guests by beating them. Angered by this, the accused, in a spirit of revenge, found Ajay Kumar alone behind the house and killed him with a knife and hid the body in a pile of straw kept in a nearby barn.
