If you close your ICICI Bank account within 30 days, you will not have to pay any money. On closing the account between 31 days to 1 year, you will have to pay a closing fee of Rs 500 along with GST. You will not have to pay any charges for closing the account after one year.
4- Canara Bank
If you close your savings account with Canara Bank, you will not have to pay any money in the first 14 days. On closing the account between 14 days to 1 year, you will have to pay a closing fee of Rs 200 along with GST. Whereas if you close your account after 1 year, you will have to pay a closure fee of Rs 100 along with GST.
5- Punjab and Sindh Bank
There will be no charges in the first 14 days even on closing the savings account in Punjab and Sindh Bank. If you close your account between 15 days to 12 months, you will have to pay a closing fee of Rs 300 to Rs 500.
How to close bank account?
To close your bank account you have to write a letter to the branch manager of the bank. In this you will have to write the reason for closing the account.
