To obtain a learner's license sitting at home, 'Online LL Test (STAL)' will have to be given on the Sarathi portal after the stipulated time of submission of application. In this test, questions related to traffic rules are asked and after completion of the stipulated time, if you pass the test then you get the learner's license. This license can be obtained sitting at home, but after this, to get a permanent driving license, one has to go to the RTO office and take a test. The fee to obtain a license may vary from state to state depending on the type of license.
