Special importance of intellectual property in economic development: Prof. Jayanand

Meerut, 27 April (HS). SLCS, Shobhit University Research and IPR Cell in collaboration with Ministry of Commerce and Industry organized the program on World Intellectual Property Day on Saturday. Speakers said that intellectual property has special importance in economic development.

Vice Chancellor of Shobhit University, Prof. Jayanand explained in detail about the utility of IPR. Arunendra Singh, Assistant Controller of the Controller General of Patents Design Trademarks and Setu Mishra, Vice President Business Strategy and Operations of Ennoble IP Noida, said that in whatever technology transfer and economic development is taking place today, intellectual property has special importance. Because the more innovation there is in the country, the more the country will progress.

The program was conducted by Lieutenant Dr. Kuldeep Kumar and IPR Cell Coordinator Dr. Mohammad Aamir. Registrar Dr. Ganesh Bhardwaj, SLCS Director Pramod Goyal, Niharika Pilania etc. were present on this occasion.
