Mahoba, 27 April (HS). In the district, late on Friday night, at the time of seven rounds of Jaimala, the groom did such an act which angered the bride's side. The bride refused the marriage. The police arrived on information from the girl's side and took the groom into custody.

The marriage of the girl, resident of Kaimah of Srinagar police station area of ​​the district, was fixed with a young man resident of Panpura village of Naugaon police station area of ​​Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. After the wedding procession arrived in the village, other rituals related to the marriage took place. While the ceremony of seven rounds was going on, the groom made fun of the bride's aunt, which enraged the bride's side. At the same time, due to this action of the groom, the bride clearly refused to marry. After this, the ongoing phera rituals were stopped and the police was informed.

Srinagar police station incharge Arjun Singh said that the groom has been detained on the complaint of the girl's side. An attempt was made to reach a compromise by making both the bride and groom sit together, but the girl was not ready for marriage. After this the wedding procession returned to its home without the groom.
