Prayagraj, 26 April (HS). Thanks to Pratham Mishra (68 runs, 36 balls and one wicket), Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Club defeated Bhanu Pratap Singh Club by six wickets and reached the final of Santosh Dixit Memorial T-20 Cashmoney Cricket Competition.
After losing the toss in the first semi-final match played on Friday at Daulat Hussain College ground, Bhanu Pratap Singh Club scored 184 runs in 20 overs (Akhil Kumar Kashyap 62, Shivam Yadav 45, Aman Mishra 26, Suvrat Prasad Tiwari 19, Rahul Rajpal 2-26, Amar Choudhary scored 2-33, Pratham Mishra 1-29, Uday Pratap Singh 1-32). In reply, Chaudhary Naunihal Singh Club scored 187 runs for four wickets in 16.2 overs (Pratham Mishra 68, Rahul Rajpal 34, Shivakant Shukla 31, Anshuman Pandey 22 not out, Pravesh Singh 3-28, Satyam Shukla 1-35).
Pratham Mishra was given the Man of the Match award by former Ranji cricketer Pradeep Singh. The second semi-final of the competition will be played on Saturday between Daulat Hussain Inter College and Phaphamau Club from 8 am.
