Lucknow, 26 April (HS). Voting has started in eight Lok Sabha constituencies of western Uttar Pradesh at 7 am on Friday. Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati has posted on social media.
Posting on her social account X, Mayawati said that the second phase of voting for the Lok Sabha is taking place in the country today. In this, especially the poor, unemployed, farmers, women and other deprived people must think that you have brought good days for BJP but what happened to their much publicized and tempting promise of bringing 'good days' for you? Rather, why is their life so troubled?
He further said that like Congress' 'Garibi Hatao', BJP has also committed a big breach of promise, while the basic duty of the government is to provide desired development of Bahujans by running the country under the humanitarian and welfare sacred objective of the Constitution. Then why are the lives of crores of poor, SC, ST, OBC, minorities continuously helpless and miserable?
The BSP chief further said that instead of any particular person or party, the interest of the country and the people lies in voting for the poverty and unemployment-free 'Acche Din' of the country and about 125 crore working people of the country. Come forward to vote for the Bahujan-friendly 'good government' in the country. Hence 'First voting then refreshment'.
