New Delhi, 22 April (HS). The country's leading cooperative organization Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) will start the production of 'Nano Urea Plus' fertilizer this week. Its commercial sales are going to start from May 1st. Nano Urea Plus is a new version of Nano Urea. The Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare had notified it last week for three years.
Dr. US Awasthi, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), IFFCO, released the first look of Nano Urea Plus bottle on 'X' post on Monday. On this occasion, Awasthi said that IFFCO is happy to release the first look of Nano Urea Plus bottle. Giving information about Nano Urea Plus (Liquid), Awasthi said that it is an advanced formulation of Nano Urea with 16 per cent nitrogen w/w equivalent to 20 per cent nitrogen w/v higher concentration.
He said it is environment friendly and used to meet the nitrogen requirement of the crop at critical growth stages. Awasthi said it is used in place of traditional urea and other nitrogenous fertilizers for better soil health and profitability of farmers. It increases the efficiency and availability of micronutrients. It is noteworthy that there has been no increase in the price of Nano Urea Plus. This is given to farmers for Rs 225 for 500 ml. Will be available in the bottle.
