Reliance Jio, the country's largest telecom service provider and private sector company, has announced the results for the fourth quarter (January-March) of the financial year 2023-24. In the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2024, Reliance Jio's profit increased by 13 percent year-on-year to Rs 5,337 crore. In the same quarter of the previous financial year 2022-23, it was Rs 4,716 crore.
In the information given to the stock market on Monday, Reliance Jio said that its net profit in the January-March quarter of FY 2023-24 ending March 31, 2024 has increased by 13.16 percent to Rs 5,337 crore, which is the same as in the previous financial year 2022-23. It was Rs 4,716 crore in the same quarter. With this, the company's operating income increased by 11 percent to Rs 25,959 crore in the fourth quarter.
According to the company, the net profit of Reliance Jio for the entire financial year 2023-24 increased by 12.4 percent to Rs 20,466 crore as compared to the previous financial year 2022-23. Apart from this, the income of Reliance Jio in the financial year 2023-24 has increased by 10.2 percent to Rs 1,00,119 crore compared to the year before.
