Meerut, 22 April (HS). The time for voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections is near. A present Chief Minister and two former Chief Ministers are arriving in Meerut on Tuesday to sharpen their political equations. While there will be a road show of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Meerut, former Chief Ministers Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati will address public meetings.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is coming to Meerut for the fifth time within 25 days. He will hold a road show in support of BJP candidate Arun Govil in the old city. Just a few days ago, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had held a public meeting in the Muslim-dominated Hajipur village on Hapur Road in support of BJP candidate Sunita Verma from Meerut-Hapur seat. Now on Tuesday, his public meeting will be held in Siwalkhas assembly constituency of Meerut district which comes under Baghpat Lok Sabha constituency. Similarly, BSP supremo and former Chief Minister Mayawati will also hold a public meeting in support of BSP candidate Devvrat Tyagi in Alipur village on Hapur Road on Tuesday.
