Moradabad, April 20 (Hindustan Reporter) Inspector Rajan Sharma, in-charge of Government Railway Police, Moradabad, said that history-sheeter Faizan, accused of stealing in trains, has been arrested on Saturday. A gold chain, two rings, a pair of silver anklets and Rs 2500 in cash have been recovered from its possession.
He said that on Saturday, the Government Railway Police team under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Railway Devi Dayal and GRP Inspector Rajan Sharma arrested Faizan son of Gulfan alias Babu from under the Kapoor Company bridge. He is a resident of Chhajlet police station of the district.
The arrested accused Faizan told during interrogation that on March 10, he had stolen jewelery and Rs 2500 from a bag in the sleeper coach of Saptakranti Express train near Moradabad railway station. Apart from this, a black and gray bag of a passenger was stolen from 14315 Intercity Express near Moradabad Railway Station. Four cases are registered against Faizan in GRP Moradabad and Najibabad. Faizan told that I steal in trains as a hobby.
The team that arrested accused Faizan included GRP's Sachin Kumar, chief constable Tausif, Vivekpal, RPF's ASI Mushtaq Khan, CIB's chief constable Rameshwar etc.
