Hamirpur, 20 April (HS). A tractor trolley loaded with wheat went out of control and overturned in a ditch on Saturday near the dump on Sumerpur Devgaon road in Sumerpur police station area. Due to which the tractor driver died on the spot, while two people were seriously injured. The injured were sent to Sadar Hospital with the help of ambulance. The police have taken the driver's body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. This sudden incident has created chaos in the family.
Ghatauli resident Avadhbihari Singh (53), son of Jagdev Singh, was going to fill the wheat of village resident Arvind Singh in a tractor trolley to sell it at the government purchasing center in Galla Mandi of the town. On Saturday afternoon, near the dump on Sumerpur Devgaon road, the tractor went out of control and overturned into a deep ditch on the roadside. Due to which the driver got buried under the Avadh Bihari tractor and died. While Arvind Singh (48) and his son Govind Singh (23) were seriously injured.
The ambulance that reached the spot took Arvind Singh and Govind Singh to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The police reached the spot with the help of JCB, took out the body of Awadh Bihari buried under the tractor, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Sandeep Singh, son of the deceased, told that his father was going to Galla Mandi after filling Arvind Singh's wheat in the tractor trolley. That's when this incident happened. The deceased has left behind his wife Seema, sons Sandeep and Chetan, daughters Pooja and Vandana crying.
