The Municipal Corporation has made full preparations to monitor the work of M/s Varanasi Waste Solution, the organization selected mainly for door-to-door garbage collection and disposal in Varanasi. The five-member team includes all the junior engineers of the Municipal Corporation, all the health inspectors, revenue inspectors, zone in-charge of M/s Varanasi Waste Solution and personnel of the company. Everyone has been deployed in different wards of the city. The report of the inspection conducted by them will be sent to the City Health Officer jointly signed, on the basis of which payment will be made to Varanasi Waste Solution.
The Municipal Commissioner held a meeting with subordinate officers in the Municipal Corporation Auditorium regarding this on Friday. The facilities being provided by Varanasi Waste Solution in the wards like management of vehicle log book, employee attendance register, materials, etc. and maintenance of other equipment will be checked. The door to door garbage collection being done by Solution in the wards will be examined. It will be investigated from how many houses wet and dry garbage is being collected in door to door garbage collection.
The progress of disposal of complaints received related to cleanliness will be checked to see how many complaints have been disposed of with quality within 48 hours. And how many complaints are being resolved after 48 hours.
