This fall further increased due to selling pressure in early trade. After a short while, buyers completely took over the market, due to which Sensex and Nifty not only made their place in the green, but also closed with strong strength. During the day's trading today, the Sensex jumped 1,393 points from the day's low. Nifty also managed to jump by more than 400 points intra-day. After the entire day's trading, Sensex closed with a gain of 0.83 percent and Nifty with a gain of 0.69 percent.

Today, during the day's trading, shares of consumer durables, banking and metal sectors witnessed maximum buying. There was selling pressure in realty, IT and power sector shares. Despite the recovery in Sensex and Nifty, there was continuous selling pressure in the broader market today, due to which the BSE Midcap index closed with a fall of 0.39 percent. Similarly, the Smallcap index ended today's trading with a weakness of 0.04 percent.

Today, due to the market's strength returning after four days, the wealth of stock market investors increased by more than Rs 60 thousand crore. The market capitalization of BSE listed companies increased to Rs 393.49 lakh crore (provisional) after today's trading. Their market capitalization on the last trading day i.e. Thursday was Rs 392.89 lakh crore. In this way, investors made a profit of about Rs 60 thousand crore from today's business.

Today, there was active trading in 3,903 shares in BSE during the day's trading. Of these, 1,723 shares closed with gains, while 2,064 shares were in decline, while 116 shares closed without any movement. There was active trading in 2,206 shares in NSE today. Of these, 990 shares closed in the green mark after earning profit and 1,216 shares closed in the red mark after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 21 shares closed with gains and 9 shares closed with decline. Out of the stocks included in Nifty, 29 stocks closed in the green mark and 21 stocks closed in the red mark.

BSE Sensex fell 489.34 points today and opened at 71,999.65 points. Due to selling pressure as soon as trading started, this index reached the level of 71,816.46 points with a weakness of 672.53 points. After this, the bulls completely took over the market, due to which the position of this index started improving. With the support of continuous buying in the market, shortly before the end of today's trading, this index jumped by 1,393.71 points from the low level and reached the level of 73,210.17 points with a gain of 721.18 points. After the entire day's trading, the Sensex closed at 73,088.33 points with a gain of 599.34 points.

Like Sensex, NSE's Nifty started trading today at 21,861.50 points with a weakness of 134.35 points. Due to selling pressure as soon as the market opened, this index slipped to 21,777.65 points. After this, buyers took the lead in the market, due to which the pace of this index increased. With the support of continuous buying, shortly before the end of today's trading, this index jumped 401.90 points from the day's low and reached the level of 22,179.55 points with a gain of 183.70 points. After buying and selling throughout the day, Nifty ended today's trading at 22,147 points with a gain of 151.15 points.
