District Disability Empowerment Officer Surbhi Srivastava secured 56th rank in UPAC

Kanpur Dehat, 16 April (HS). True success comes from the story of struggle. This line has been corrected by Surbhi Srivastava, District Disability Empowerment Officer of Kanpur Dehat. By appearing in UPSC examination thrice in a row and finally achieving success in 2024, he has increased the prestige and name of both Kanpur Dehat and Kanpur Nagar districts.

Surbhi Srivastava, a resident of Kanpur city, is currently posted as District Disability Empowerment Officer in Kanpur Dehat. UPSC results came on Tuesday and Surbhi has secured 56th rank in the country. He has given the credit of his success to his parents and then to God. Surbhi lives with her family in Rawatpur village of Kalyanpur. Father in the family is Jagdish Kumar Srivastava, who is the Block Education Officer in Auraiya. Mother Archana Srivastava, younger sister Vaishnavi Srivastava are software engineers.

Quit engineering job and study

Surabhi told in a conversation with Hindustan News that her high school education was from St. Joseph's School, Dibiyapur. After this, after completing her intermediate studies from DPS Kalyanpur and then graduation from HBTU, she started working in Noida as a software engineer in 2019.

Surbhi said that she was definitely working in Noida, but was not satisfied. Therefore, in 2020, she resigned from her job and started studying for UPSC. Passed UPTCS exam in 2022 and got a job on the post of District Disability Empowerment Officer in Kanpur Dehat in 2023.

It is difficult to manage studies along with job

Surbhi said that while living in Kanpur Dehat, I studied along with my job. It was definitely a bit difficult to juggle both job and studies, but as I continued my struggle by managing time, everything started to seem easy. I have secured a better rank than I had expected. I am very happy about this.

learn from defeat and move forward

Surbhi said that one should never give up in anything. Giving up is not an option. If you do not get success at once, then you should move forward again after improving your things, then you will definitely get success. You should keep working towards your goal until you achieve it.
