On April 14, a public meeting was proposed by SP supremo and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in support of SP-Congress alliance candidate Ruchi Veera in the grounds of Government Inter College in Mughalpura police station area. Akhilesh Yadav's arrival was canceled at the last moment due to bad weather.

During this, Ruchi Veera along with SP leaders and public representatives addressed the people from the stage. During this, Ruchi Veera had said that the police administration is working to remove Congress people from here.

Taking aim at the police-administration, he said that stay within your limits, do not act as a broker, you will not be able to stop people from coming. You will be surprised to see such long queues to cast your vote. He further said that the police should not act as agents of BJP. District Magistrate Manvendra says that a notice was also issued from here. He also says that in the footage that came to us, it was clear that he had threatened the police, which was a violation of the MCC.
