Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president and former Chief Minister Mayawati said that all parties are trying to divide the society by forming small parties to weaken the BSP. He was referring to Chandrashekhar Azad, the national president of Azad Samaj Party, who is contesting the elections from Nagina, who is working day and night to unite Dalit voters in his favor. Mayawati made it clear that she is in the fray to defeat BSP and not to win, so no Dalit voter should misuse their vote. ,
BSP chief Mayawati on Tuesday addressed an election rally at Ramlila Maidan in support of her party's candidates. Mayawati described all the opposition parties as power-hungry. He said that today the general public is troubled by inflation and unemployment. There was no development of farmers, labourers, Dalits, minorities, backward classes and small traders. Mayawati also raised questions on the free ration scheme.
Holding SP responsible for the absence of reservation quota in government jobs, the BSP chief said that we had brought a bill in the Central Government, which was torn by SP. Such an anti-Dalit party can never be forgiven. He said from the stage that if our government is formed then reservation will be issued in the private sector also. The oppression of Muslims in the name of religion will be stopped.
He said that we do not make false promises. BSP does not believe in manifesto but believes in working. Taking on the media, Mayawati said that confusion is being spread by showing surveys and opinion polls. The BSP chief looked happy after seeing the crowd at the public meeting venue. His happiness was expressed in words. He said that after seeing the immense affection of you people, I have once again become confident that BSP will hoist the flag of victory on both the seats.
