Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway: There is a good news for daily commuters as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is planning to build three new highways and four flyovers by the end of April which will offer a smooth journey for the commuters. Jaipur and Ajmer.
The NHAI official said that four flyovers on the Jaipur-Kishangarh section of the Ajmer Expressway will also be open to the public by June this year.
NHAI project director Ajay Arya told TOI that construction of three flyovers at Bandarsindhari, Mahalla and Sawarda crossings is nearing completion and he is expecting their opening by the end of this month.
He further said that progress is also going on at a fast pace on five more flyovers at Bagru, Narsinghpura, Gadota, Mokapura and Padasoli.
Arya further said that they are working to finish the Ajmer-bound flank of the Kamla Nehru Nagar crossing flyover.
He also said that it is likely that these five flyovers will become operational between the end of June and mid-July.
NHAI officials said that once all the nine flyovers are operational, the travel time between Ajmer and Jaipur will be significantly reduced, leading to a two-hour commute between the 200 feet bypass crossing and Ajmer.
