IPL 2024: Former veteran raised questions on Hardik's fitness, is the MI captain unfit?

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya made a comeback in IPL 2024 after recovering from injury. However, after returning from injury, Hardik's form is not looking the same as before. Especially Hardik is seen struggling a lot in bowling. Hardik has not bowled even full 4 overs in any match till now. After which many questions are being raised in the minds of fans regarding Hardik's fitness. Now a former veteran cricketer has also raised a big question on Pandya's fitness.

Questions raised on Hardik's fitness!

Former Australia captain Adam Gilchrist said about Hardik's fitness that Hardik does not look completely fit while bowling. His fitness is under doubt. Because there is lack of rhythm in his bowling due to which his bowling looks quite scattered. However, the positive thing about him is that he is ready to take up the challenge of becoming the captain. Hardik bowled in the first three matches. After this, Pandya did not bowl a single over in the two matches when he was again seen bowling against CSK. Before Adam Gilchrist, former New Zealand fast bowler Simon Dooley had also called Hardik Pandya unfit.

Hardik's fitness increased the tension of Team India

Hardik Pandya was injured during the ODI World Cup 2023, after which he had to be ruled out of the entire tournament. Hardik has now returned to IPL after injury, but looking at his performance he does not seem fit. After IPL 2024, Team India will be seen playing in T20 World Cup 2024. In such a situation, if Hardik is not able to return to his form after becoming fully fit, then tension may increase for Team India. Because the team's second senior fast bowler Mohammed Shami has also recently undergone surgery. There is no information yet on when Shami will return to the field and join Team India.
