Giving this information on Saturday, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Manish Sonkar said that among the arrested bookies are Rahul alias Mudit, Sumit Gupta, Sumit Anand alias Sumo. A speculator managed to escape from the spot. A total of Rs 19 lakh cash has been recovered from the arrested bookie. This money used to come into his bank account from outside India. During interrogation, these people told that they were betting from different hotels of the city and used to settle accounts with their other members daily.
