Ghaziabad, 13 April (Hindustan Reporter) Police station Niwari and surveillance team have revealed the incident of 'robbery' within 72 hours on Saturday. Police have arrested four dacoits, including two women.
DCP (Rural) Vivek Chandra Yadav said that Kasba Niwari Mohit Tyagi had lodged a report in the police station. He told that recently in the afternoon, some unknown people made sister-in-law Deepika unconscious by smelling some substance and looted 40 tola gold and cash worth Rs 3 lakh 50 and ran away.
Four teams were deployed to uncover the incident. On the basis of CCTV footage and evidence, the police arrested Baghpat resident Yogendra Tyagi alias Pappu, Sunita Tyagi, Akbar and Ghaziabad resident Deepika Tyagi.
During interrogation, Akbar told the police that Yogendra Tyagi had given him Rs 20,000 to commit this incident. After this he took daughter Deepika to Mohit's house. After this Deepika carried out the incident. Deepika told that she along with her mother Sunita had sold the remaining jewelery to a goldsmith in Meerut.
