Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam canceled due to paper leak. The exam was scheduled to be held on February 17 and 18, 2024, at designated centers across the state. According to media reports, it can be organized in June 2024. However, no official date of the exam has been announced yet. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board may soon release the date of UP Police Constable Exam.
Total number of candidates appeared for the exam:
Around 47 lakh candidates had participated in the examination held on February 17 and 18 for recruitment to 60,244 constable posts. Due to paper leak, the state government had canceled the examination on February 24. Selection for constable posts will be done through written examination, PST, DV and PET rounds. The candidates who will qualify the written examination will be called for further selection processes.
What is the exam pattern?
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and a total of 150 questions will be asked. Candidates will be given 2 marks for each correct answer. And 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The examination will be conducted in English and Hindi language. The exam will be conducted on OMR sheet. Like last time, this time also the examination can be conducted in two shifts.
