Mirzapur, 09 April (HS). On Tuesday, the first day of Vasantik Navratri fair, a large number of devotees from every corner of the country and state reached the court of Vindhyavasini. After the morning Mangala Aarti, the devotees had the darshan of Maa Vindhyavasini smoothly. For the darshan and worship of the devotees, the district administration is making strict security arrangements at the three main temples.
District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan has also made arrangements for free night shelters for the devotees to stay at major places in the fair area, kiosks for drinking water, sherbet along with drinking water to the queued devotees and puri sabzi at cheap rates near the night shelters. For the stay of the devotees coming from far away places, there are six places in the entire fair area – Primary School Ghamaha (near Atal Square), temporary night shelter near Rehda bridge, permanent night shelter of Duda Department, free of cost in Vindhya Vidyapeeth Inter College premises. Charges: Temporary night shelter and Puri vegetable at cheap rate near it and free drinking water and drinking water arrangement, arrangement of night shelter and drinking water about 200 meters before Kalikhoh temple and night shelter above Ashtabhuja temple and for the people going below Ashtabhuja temple. Arrangements for night shelters and drinking water facilities have been made on the route.
Similarly, on the old VIP road, new VIP road and Kotwali road leading to Vindhyachal temple, along with arrangements for water stalls at various places, arrangements for sherbet for the devotees standing in the queue were made by the district administration.
