Mirzapur, 09 April (HS). The weather suddenly took a turn in the district on Tuesday. The weather became pleasant due to strong winds. On the other hand, the wheat crop lying in the fields also got damaged.
Dust storm and strong winds occurred in Halia block of the district, due to which farmers suffered losses. The bundles of wheat lying in the fields were blown away in the wind for a long distance. The straw kept in the barns also got scattered due to the strong winds. The weather pattern changed in Drummondganj area and there was drizzle along with dust storm.
Weather forecast, it will be cloudy, no chance of rain
Rural Agriculture Weather Service, Geophysics Department, Nodal Officer, BHU Varanasi, Prof. Ravi Shankar Singh and Technical Officer, Meteorologist Shivmangal Singh said that based on the weather forecast, the wind will be strong and it will be cloudy. However, there will be no rain for the next three days.
