Stock market made a new record on the first day of Chaitra Navratri
Chaitra Navratri has started from today and the stock market has made a new record on the very first day. As soon as the stock market opened today, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex witnessed a strong rise and crossed the record level of 75,000 for the first time. Along with the Sensex, the Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) also moved at a tremendous pace and touched a new high of 22,700.
Stock market trading started on a strong note today
Stock markets started trading on a strong note today amid positive global signals. At 9.15 am, BSE Sensex crossed 75000 for the first time and opened at 75,124.28, touching its all-time high. BSE Sensex closed at 74,742.50 on the last trading day. NSE Nifty also reached new high in the beginning. Nifty started trading today at a record high of 22,765.10. The NSE index had closed at 22,666.30 on the previous trading day.
So many shares opened on the green mark
With the start of trading in the stock market, while 1,662 shares saw a rise, there were 584 shares which started with a decline and opened in the red. No change was seen in the position of 97 shares. If we talk about Sensex, after 15 minutes of trading, the index touched its all-time high and was trading at 75,024.35 with a gain of 281.85 points or 0.38 percent.
