Lakhimpur Kheri, 08 April (HS). Lucknow's surveillance team and Kheri police on Monday arrested Salim, a rewarded criminal of inter-district gang, and six members of his gang. Cases have been registered against all of them for serious crimes like theft, murder, robbery and dacoity. IG Range Tarun Gaba has announced a reward of Rs 20,000 for the team that reveals the matter.
Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Pawan Gautam told journalists that the surveillance team of IG Range Lucknow, along with Kheri Police, has arrested inter-district criminal Salim and six members of his gang. The arrested accused include Haleem, Irfan, Dilshad, Jiyaul, Sahib and Arshad. There is a reward of thirty thousand rupees on Salim. Police have recovered two pickup vehicles, buffalo, three pistols etc. from the Salim Gang from the spot. IG Range Lucknow Tarun Gaba has also announced a reward of Rs 20 thousand for the team that reveals the matter.
