Vindhyadham: Policemen will wear clean uniform, taught lesson of discipline

Mirzapur, 08 April (HS). A briefing was held on Monday for the police and administrative officers and employees engaged in Chaitra Navratri fair duty. Instructions were also given that they will ensure that the devotees who come to worship Maa Vindhyavasini, Ashtabhuja and Kalikhoh, get the darshan and worship done in an easy and safe manner.

Entry into the sanctum sanctorum of Maa Vindhyavasin temple will be completely prohibited throughout Chaitra Navratri. While on duty, the policemen will wear clean uniforms and will remain disciplined and will politely discharge their duties and responsibilities with dedication and devotion towards the devotees coming to Vindhyachal Mela. If someone gets lost in the fair or gets separated from his family, help him by taking him to the lost and found centre. The parking operators appointed for parking vehicles in the fair area have been instructed to charge parking fees as per the rate list.

Oath administered to ensure safe and peaceful completion of Chaitra Navratri Fair

If any person becomes unwell, immediately inform the fair control room to provide medical arrangements. Policemen on duty must keep their duty card with them. Zonal, sector and duty in-charge must register their presence during duty. Besides, all the officers and employees on duty were administered the oath to conduct the Chaitra Navratri Fair safely and peacefully.

Police deployed at every step, surveillance even in plain clothes

Paying special attention to the safety of girls and women coming to the fair, women police officers and employees have been deployed on duty in plain and uniform. Additional Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, male and female head constables and constable level police officers and employees have been put on duty at various points. Apart from this, deployment of traffic police, fire men, PAC (Flood Company), SDRF, Gunda Daman Dal, Anti Chain Snatcher Squad, fire tenders, cranes, HHMD-FMD, CCTV and drone cameras and adequate number of Home Guard-PRD and PAC forces.
