The command of Uttar Pradesh’s ‘Navratna’ UPEIDA is now directly in the hands of CM Yogi! New highways and expressways will be built quickly

The command of Uttar Pradesh's 'Navratna' UPEIDA is now directly in the hands of CM Yogi! New highways and expressways will be built quickly

A very big and administratively important news is coming out regarding the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), the largest and important institution which has given Uttar Pradesh a new identity across the world as ‘Expressway State’. From a diplomatic and developmental point of view, UPEIDA is no less than a ‘Navratna’ company for the Uttar Pradesh government today, which has completely changed the picture and destiny of the state. Now, to give rocket speed to this development cycle and complete all the projects within the time limit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken its command directly in his hands. After this big step of the Chief Minister, there is a huge stir in the administrative staff and it has become clear that now any kind of delay or negligence will not be tolerated in the construction work of new highways and expressways in the state.

Misappropriation of files will end due to direct monitoring of CM Yogi

According to information received from administrative corridors and sources, the biggest objective of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath taking the command of UPEIDA under his direct control is to end the tortoise movement of files. Often in big infrastructure projects, work used to get stuck or delayed due to lack of coordination between various departments in matters like land acquisition, NOC of Forest Department and budget allocation. But now due to the direct monitoring and intervention of the Chief Minister, officials of all departments will have to take immediate decisions. The file of any project will no longer gather dust on the table, which will give an unprecedented pace to the construction work.

Work from Ganga Expressway to new link expressway will reach superfast speed

UPEIDA currently has the responsibility of construction of ‘Ganga Expressway’, one of the largest expressway projects in the country, which is going to connect Meerut to Prayagraj. Apart from this, the work of developing industrial corridors around Bundelkhand Expressway, Purvanchal Expressway and Gorakhpur Link Expressway is also going on war footing. After CM Yogi has come into this action mode, the way has been completely cleared for the construction of all these ongoing projects as well as the upcoming new link expressways and connecting highways. The Chief Minister has clear instructions that all projects should be completed as per international standards and before the set deadline.

Unlimited new doors of industrial investment and employment will open

Expressways not only facilitate transportation, but they are the backbone of the economy of any state. The main focus of CM Yogi through UPEIDA is to rapidly establish big industries, logistics parks and defense corridors on both sides of these expressways. When the infrastructure is strong and ready on time, big investors from the country and the world will be attracted to set up their factories in Uttar Pradesh. This will not only make Uttar Pradesh’s dream of becoming a one trillion dollar economy come true, but will also create lakhs of new employment and self-employment opportunities for the local youth in their home district.

Punishment will fall on officers involved in corruption and negligence

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s decision to take charge of UPEIDA is another strong message for those contractors and officials who are negligent in the quality of work. Now the progress report of the construction work will be sent directly to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and the CM himself will review the projects through digital mapping and drones. If there is any smell of delay in work or corruption, immediate and extremely strict punitive action will be taken against the officials concerned. This tough stance of the Chief Minister has made it clear that the infrastructure model of the new Uttar Pradesh is now going to become an example for the whole world.
