Tuesday's trading proved inauspicious for the Indian stock market. After opening at the red mark in the morning, the market closed at the red mark. At the end of today's trading, BSE Sensex closed 111 points down at 73,903 points and National Stock Exchange Nifty closed 8.70 points down at 22,453 points.
Investors' wealth is Rs. Increase of Rs 2.50 lakh crore
Despite Sensex and Nifty closing in the red, the market capitalization of the stock market has increased rapidly. The market cap of shares listed on BSE is Rs. Rs 395.67 lakh crore was closed. Whereas in the last session the market cap was Rs. Was Rs 393.15 lakh crore. Investors' wealth increased by Rs 1,000 in today's session. An increase of Rs 2.52 lakh crore was seen.

In today's trading, strong gains were seen in Auto, FMCG, Metal, Media, Energy Infra, Commodities, Consumer Durables, Oil & Gas sectors, while Healthcare, IT, Pharma and Banking stocks closed with losses. There has been a tremendous rise in midcap and smallcap shares in today's business. The midcap index closed 567 points higher at 49,479. The smallcap index closed up 192 points.

In today's trading, Mahindra & Mahindra closed with gains of 2.95 percent, Nestle 1.42 percent, Tata Motors 1.23 percent, SBI 1.21 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.11 percent, Tata Steel closed with gains of 0.95 percent. While Kotak Mahindra closed down 1.84 per cent, Sun Pharma closed down 0.90 per cent.
